Enjoying the Blessing of Obedience
Read: "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper." Psalm 1:2-3 NKJ
Think: The Bible says if you delight in the Lord and meditate (think about) on his Word your life will produce good fruit and everything you do will prosper. That's a great promise. What kind of fruit is on your tree? Is your life producing good works and blessings for your family, friends and nation? When you pray you produce good fruit, because when God's answers are always the right answers.
Pray: Ask the Lord to help you have this kind of fruit in your life. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." Gal 5:22-23 (NKJ) Ask Him to remind you to share the fruit of love, joy, and peace in your prayers and in your actions.
Listen: Listen to the Lord as He speaks to you through His Word, your parents, your pastor, and your teacher. Go Back
