The House of the Lord

On the third Sunday of the month pray for all the mothers and fathers in your church.

Read: "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." Deuteronomy 6:6-8 (NKJ)

Pray: Pray this verse for the parents in your church. Pray that they will teach their children God's Word and talk about it in their homes. Pray that they will speak of the Lord in their neighborhoods. Pray that they will pray together in the morning and in the evening. Pray that they will never forget the Word of God and remember it each time they come in and go out.
