On Thursday pray for the President.

Read: "Blessed is the (President) who does not sit in the seat of the scornful." Psalm 1:1 NKJ

Think: The Office of President is an important one. When our President speaks we should listen carefully. His words often tell us the direction he is going to lead our nation. There are times when speechwriters tell the President what to say. This can be good or it can be bad. It is important that we pray for our President and those who help him prepare his speeches.

Pray: Pray that the President will speak the truth in love. Pray that his words will guide people into good works. Pray that his relationship Jesus will be strong and his words will prove his love for the Lord. Pray that even when people say bad things against him, his words will be kind and gracious. Pray that the President will take the time to sit and God's presence and listen to God's voice.

Listen: When you watch the news, or read the newspaper, or even hear a conversation about our President and his family, listen carefully. You may hear about a circumstance in the life of your leader for which you can pray. Go Back
