Stand in the LightToday pray for your Congressional Leaders. (This means those men and women who have been elected by your state to come to Washington, DC and make the laws for our nation.)
Read: "Blessed is the (leader) who does not stand in the path of sinners." Psalm 1:1 NKJ
Pray: Pray for the spiritual life (relationship with God) of your leader. Pray that each leader will ask for God's wisdom as they lead our nation. Pray that they will have a hunger for God's Word and read it everyday. Pray that each leader will stand in the light and not with those who walk in sin and darkness.
Listen: When you watch the news, or read the newspaper, or even hear
a conversation about your Senator/Representative, listen carefully. You may
hear about a circumstance in the life of your leader for which you can pray.
