Tuesday

On Tuesday pray for your Congressional Leaders. (This means those men and women who have been elected by your state to come to Washington, DC and make the laws for our nation.)

Read: "Blessed is the (leader) who does not sit in the seat of the scornful." Psalm 1:1 NKJ

Think: The words that our leaders speak are very important. What they say can encourage the people to do good or lead them on the wrong path. Many times leaders speak against each other just as your friends at school. There are also times when leaders speak words against God and godly principles. When this happens we must pray.

Pray: Pray that your leaders will speak the truth in love. Pray that their words will guide people into good works. Pray that they will come to know Jesus, and never speak against Him. Pray that even when they disagree their words would be kind, loving, and filled with peace.

Listen: When you watch the news, or read the newspaper, or even hear a conversation about your Senator/Representative, listen carefully. You may hear about a circumstance in the life of your leader for which you can pray. Go Back
